The Center for Disability Services wanted to strengthen organizational culture and ensure staff at every level had the knowledge and tools to create an inclusive, respectful service environment.

KMG was engaged to conduct a comprehensive cultural climate assessment, design a multi-phase capacity-building plan, and prepare internal facilitators to sustain ongoing learning across departments.

Across three phases, KMG:

  • Conducted organization-wide surveys and identity-specific focus groups to assess workplace climate.

  • Delivered leadership development sessions and cohort-based trainings for targeted departments.

  • Trained 25 staff members as in-house facilitators; created a facilitator handbook, onboarding videos, and a 3-hour foundational training curriculum.

  • Delivered 25 hours of train-the-trainer workshops in collaboration with Tangible Development.

The organization established a self-sustaining professional-learning model, improved cross-department communication, and integrated inclusive practices into onboarding and daily operations.
