Washington Supreme Court Disability Justice Task Force:
2025 Disability Justice Study
The Washington State Supreme Court Disability Justice Task Force selected our firm as researchers for the first court-led statewide effort in the nation to apply a Disability Justice lens to the unique challenges impacting access to justice for people with disabilities.
Over a seven-month period, KMG Consulting conducted a multi-method research study to center the voices of people with disabilities, recognizing the full spectrum of access barriers, and identifying the structural changes needed for practical reform. Inspired by Sins Invalid's Ten Principles of Disability Justice, we aligned our recommendations to the Washington Supreme Court Disability Justice Task Force's Ten Guiding Principles and present our findings at the Supreme Court Disability Justice Task Force 2025 Symposium, Tuesday, September 10, 2025.
Watch the KMG Consulting Firm team present the findings of the 2025 Disability Justice Study at the Temple of Justice in Olympia, Washington, on Tuesday, September 10, 2025, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM/PDT.
