Sebrina James, Ed.S. (she/her)

Sebrina James, is an educator with over 20 years of experience working with youth and adults, including those with behavior, emotional and/or educational special needs. She has trained teachers, administrators and parents in ways to help youth excel in academics, so they can be productive adults. In addition to her time working as an educator, she is a Training Faculty member and Clinical Supervisor with The Center for Mind Body Medicine; as well as the President of LifeCycle Wellness Community.

She was recognized as Youth Advocate of the Year for her ongoing support, passion and advocacy for youth. Ms. James has worked as a grant manager for more than a decade and has created many innovative programs. She holds several certifications and has a drive to help others. She is always willing to step in and help find solutions. Her vast experiences, coupled with her formal training as an educator, Life coach, and trainer, positions her to effectively engage with diverse communities and support the implementation of the program.

She brings to KMG an in-depth understanding of the need to center youth leadership in research.

Jerri is the former Assistant Director of Assessment and Research within the Division of Student Life at the University of Florida. She recently left this position to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy, Evaluation, Statistics, and Methodology degree from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville.
