The CDC’s Division of Adolescent School Health sought expert guidance to strengthen the capacity of its staff and partner organizations to address disparities in health outcomes among sexual-minority and racially diverse youth populations.

KMG Consulting was asked to design and deliver a seminar and keynote series focused on embedding inclusive, culturally responsive practices into professional development programs across the division and its national affiliates.

KMG facilitated a live seminar exploring the drivers of health disparities and evidence-based remedies. Kabir Amari also delivered the keynote presentation “Building the Road Ahead: Equity and Inclusion in Professional Development,” which provided a framework for program alignment, leadership accountability, and systems-wide cultural learning.

Participants gained practical tools to assess and adjust program delivery, integrate culturally responsive approaches into youth-health initiatives, and promote alignment between the CDC and its community partners.
